Challenge

The business needed to move beyond a generic local website. Customers had to understand whether a job could be priced instantly or needed review, while the owner needed enough route, load, and contact detail to follow up without long message chains.

Approach

We built a mobile-first landing and booking flow with address autocomplete, route distance calculation, load type selection, itemised lists, photo uploads, and a contact modal before request submission. The frontend was connected to Elite Booker for booking notifications and photo handling, while the customer experience included live courier route tracking once a job is confirmed. The site was then expanded with local SEO pages, sitemap coverage, structured data, and performance improvements.

Outcome

The live site now gives customers a clearer route from collection details to quote request, sends booking information to the owner, supports photo-based load review, shares live courier progress, and has stronger Peterborough service coverage for search. PageSpeed audits reached 100 SEO, 96 accessibility, 96 best practices, and 2/2 agentic browsing, with mobile performance improved through hero, video, and image optimisation work.
